Getting Started
Step 1: Meet the Requirements
To qualify for a Peak Rescue paramedic position, applicants must hold:
Florida Paramedic Certification
Completion of a state-approved Paramedic program
Successful completion of the National Registry Paramedic (NRP) exam or Florida certification process

Possess a valid Florida driver’s license
Meet HCFR employment standards, including background, medical, and drug screening requirements
Step 2: Prepare for the Hiring Process
Peak Rescue hiring follows HCFR’s standard selection process and includes:
Application Submission – Applications accepted during open recruitment periods
Interview – Participation in an oral interview panel
Screening – Background investigation, medical evaluation, and drug screening
