Step 1: Meet the Requirements

    To qualify for an entry-level firefighter position with HCFR, you must hold the following certifications:

Once certified, you'll need to navigate HCFR's hiring process (Link to Hiring Process), which includes: 

  1. Application Submission: Applications are accepted during open recruitment periods, which occur periodically based on operational needs. 

  2. Interview: Participation in an oral interview board. 

  3. Screening: Undergoing a background investigation, medical examination, and drug screening.
